Top Racks
The top racks can be mounted independently, either at an angle or flat, allowing for flexible equipment positioning. When mounted at an angle, they offer 2RU of rack space, while a flat installation provides 3RU.
When not in use, the racks can be neatly closed with 3U rack panels, maintaining a clean and professional appearance. Positioned directly behind the keyboard drawer, the topracks remain easily operable from the sweet spot.
If mounted at an angle, in the rear hidden area above the cable duct, there is still 1RU of space available for power strips or similar equipment.
Keyboard Drawer
The ULGDS pull-out drawer is equipped with linear guides, ensuring maximum stability and precision. It can lock in any position, providing flexibility for different needs. The drawer has a maximum extension length of 370mm, with the option for further extension if needed. With eight adjustable height levels (95, 108, 121, 134, 147, 160, 173, and 186mm), it accommodates a wide range of keyboard sizes. The 2mm steel tray provides exceptional durability while maximizing legroom. Designed to handle even the heaviest master keyboards, this drawer guarantees a reliable and sturdy platform.
You determine the remaining legroom yourself
…specifically by choosing the keyboard. Firstly, the tray is adjustable in height eight times, and secondly, the keyboard rests on a surface that is only 2mm thick. Thus, the legroom is approximately: table height (784mm) minus table top thickness (22mm) minus keyboard height minus 2mm.
ULGDS Keyboard Drawer
The proven High Tech ULGDS (Unterlass Linear Guides Drawer System) keyboard drawer for large and heavy 88-key master keyboard is also used here. The drawer is adjustable in height, absolutely precise and stable, and locks in any position. So – depending on your application – the keyboard can be pulled out as far as needed.
The board made of steel for the Keyboard is only 2mm thick, which means a maximum of space for the legs, and not wasting space like using 20mm wooden boards.
Adjustable in height
The keyboard drawer is adjustable in height, so it can be set to your specific keyboard without wasting space. The positions are 95, 108, 121, 134, 147, 160, 173 and 186mm.
Depth of the Drawer
Keyboards with a depth of more than 40 cm can fit in the drawer. The surface area itself is 40 cm deep but is open at the back. Therefore, keyboards with a depth of, for example, 46 cm can also be used— in this case, the drawer extends 6 cm beyond the front edge when fully retracted. However, this is not very noticeable due to the slanted shape of the side parts.
Cable Management
For a tidy and organized setup, the two cable trays can be mounted in three different positions, adapting to various cable routing needs. A dedicated cable outlet is positioned at the top rear of the tabletop (left and right sides), allowing for seamless integration into any studio layout.
Additionally, keyboard cables are guided through the crossbar directly into the cable channel, ensuring a clutter-free workspace.
Surfaces, Colors & Materials
The tabletop (22mm thick) and legs (38mm thick) are made of powder-coated MDF, providing a durable and stylish finish.
The crossbar, keyboard tray, rack angles, and cable channels are crafted from powder-coated steel for enhanced strength and stability.
With over 30 color options available—including different powder coatings, tabletop and leg finishes—the desk can be fully customized to match any studio aesthetic.
Real wood veneer finishes are also available for the tabletop and legs, adding a premium touch. Additionally, all RAL or NCS colors are available for lacquered legs, allowing for a truly personalized look. Custom combinations are possible, such as American walnut legs paired with a black tabletop.
19″ Extension KIT
The KEY 88 can be equipped with a 19″ extension at any time, even retroactively, resulting in an additional 16 HE for devices, electricity, etc. .. And should the space change, the KEY 88 can be built back again at any time.
